Many liberal Christian organizations
claim to be the correct and only way to salvation, but negate essential Christian Doctrine which categorizes them as cults.
"If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place
or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.
If someone makes a false prophecy, and they have claimed to be a prophet of God, then they are false prophets and are not
to be listened to.” (Deuteronomy 18:22)
Mormons:
Here are some interesting beliefs of the Mormon church. They are a religious organization
professing to fall under the Christian umbrella, but under close examination of their doctrine it is evident that they are
a cult. For example, did you know that they believe you could inspire to become a God yourself? The Bible is false, and full
of many errors that only the founder Joseph Smith can correctly translate. He was given this privilege allegedly by an angel
who gave him magic eye glasses in 1830. Moreover, there are several end of the world prophecies that didn’t come to
pass. If you’re interested in learning more read the Biblical Christianity vs. Mormon Christianity essay at the bottom

In the Teachings of Prophet Joseph Smith, Smith states, “God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted
man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!” (Smith, The Doctrine and the Covenants, p.345)
“Here, then, is eternal life to know the only
wise and true God; and you have got to learn how to be Gods yourselves.” (Smith, The Doctrine and the Covenants, p.346) Smith states, “I believe the Bible as it read when it came from
the pen of the original writers. Ignorant translators, careless transcribers, or designing and corrupt priests have committed
many errors. One item I believe to be false, I will renounce and disclaim it as far as
I promulgated it.” (Smith, The Doctrine and the Covenants, p.327)
Smith stated, “I then withdrew to transact some business
with a gentleman who had called to see me, when Joshua informed my scribe that he was born in Cambridge, Washington County,
New York. He says that all the railroads, canals, and other improvements are projected by the spirits of the resurrection.
The silence spoken of by John the Revelator, which is to be in heaven for the space of half an hour, is between 1830 and 1851,
during which time the judgments of God will be poured out, after that time there will be peace.” (Smith, The Pearl of
Great Price, p.104)

Jehovah
Witnesses:
Here are some interesting beliefs of the Jehovah Witnesses. They are a religious organization professing to fall under
the Christian umbrella, but under close examination of their doctrine it is evident that they are a cult. For example, did
you know that the Witnesses believe that Jesus was an Angel? They also don't believe in the Trinity, and they also have
had numerous end of the world prophecies that didn't come true. Moreover, they manipulate the original scripture to coordinate
with their belief system. If you are interested in learning more then read the essay Biblical Christianity vs. Jehovah Witnesses
